The on-again, off-again blogging thing is on again. We're almost 10% into the century; do people still blog? Shouldn't I be on the twitter or something? One problem is that I'm already approaching the character limit and would soon have to start another post, or tweet; whatever they are.
I'm not a complete dinosaur, though, I do use the new technology, sometimes even while it's still relatively new.
The name Spud, I should explain, except that I don't know where it really comes from. I'm not from Idaho, I don't have an extreme fondness for potatoes and I'm taller than Spud Webb but cannot dunk a basketball. My dad mentioned once that he was called Spud at times as a youth. I never heard anyone refer to him as Spud, though. It seems like a nickname from another time, and so I like it. I tend to like old-timey things as we will soon see.
